After long last our site is live and open to the public! We’ve uploaded quite a bit of information to get you started in finding out just what we’re about and what we have to offer. And we’ll be adding new information weekly, sometimes daily so check back often to track our progress.
And if you haven’t already, be sure and stop by the forums to say hello and ask questions and be sure to follow us on facebook to find out what random things we are up to.
If you are reading this then that means we’ve set out to do what we had planned and things are going well. We aren’t a bunch of seasoned creators with credits and awards under our belts. We aren’t well known in the inner circles of the gaming industry. What we are though, is a group of enterprising gamers who have set out to live the same dream that those before us have.
I’ve been very fortunate to have the same group of friends throughout most of my adult life. Together, we would spend hours, even days playing games, writing and drawing stories and creating. And it was so obvious — this – is what we all wanted to do. Not just as a hobby, but something we can share with everybody.
And that’s exactly what we here at Critical Strike Publishing have set out to do. We’ve done the research, we’ve done the work and now the fruits of our labors will soon be ripe. We have an entire universe waiting to be explored and we’ve put every bit of our love for gaming, comic books, action, science fiction and fantasy into this endeavor. We were cautioned by a very wise man who has worked in this industry his entire life that even if we are successful that doesn’t mean we could just stop creating. That one creation would lead into the next and the next and the next and that once we started, it was a life long commitment. That didn’t scare us — it empowered us. We will never run out of ideas or passion for what we do. We not only welcome the challenge, we’ve run head first into it with smiles on our faces and fires in our hearts.
But it all starts with that first step. That first toe in the water. This is that step. You don’t know us yet, but you will. This is the beginning, and we want you to join us on our grand adventure.
